I have 7 inch wide space between bookshelf side and wall. The wine rack fits right there and holds all our collections of wine.

The PERFECT "little black" rack
I love this wine rack. I put it in my hall closet. Super easy to install and takes up minimal space. Wine bottles are displayed horizontally so you can read the labels. A little pricey but worth it.
